Latest polls show GOP clsoing the gap to w/in a few % points. Bottom line, a weak voter turn-out does not bode well for dems. While I thought last week the House would easily go dem all bets off now. It is going to be incredibly close and we probably won't know until Thursday...If I was forced to predict, I would say senate remains republican and democrats take the house by 3 votes.

I agree with your results but the closing the gap is in generic polling. Fox still has the differential as 13%. Means little when coming down to individual races. Senate remains Republican. Any dream scenario of Dems taking it went away when the Rovian/Atwater propagandists dropped the race card in Tennessee. Up until that ad, it was very close. After the ad, not even. I guess that kind of thing still works.

I will disagree on low turnout. This year, low turnout, especially among "conservatives" and the disciples of those currently in power leads to a Dem victory. This is why the Republicans have used just about every dirty tactic and bet everything getting their base to the polls. We've heard the scary stories from Dubya and FaceShot with Drudge leading the pack to ensure their "people" get to the polls. If they sit this one out, this will be an historic day for Dems. If they come out, the Dems will makes some gains but come up short.

Sir Stonesalot >Is Mary Carey running again?<

Funny you should mention her. She sent me a friend request on MySpace while I was having Porn Chick Week. Even sent me a message asking to be included.

Of course, I complied. That chick is nutty.

here she is stabbing the Governator with a fork....

Ford lost all momentum after that ad, and truthfully, has not handled it well. He pandered to the christian conservatives and it seemed phony. The ad did what is intended-remind Tenn. that a black man who may have spent time with a white woman, is still unelectable i9n the deep south.

Amen, brother.

And that Mary Carey pic is the best of seen of her. Most of them aren't that good. She's looks almost Traci Lords (post-18)like in that one.

I don't think we will make it that long. However, I have come to terms with the fact that the reality of nuclear holocaust will not live up to the fantasy. I miss the cold war.

Israel MUST use nuclear weapons on Iran before Iran uses them on Tel Aviv .

We WILL see a nuclear warhead go off live and on living color sometime within the next few years . Word .
