Ageing rocker ROD STEWART has shared the secrets of his gravity-defying hair style - he dries it upside down. The former FACES singer, 61, has maintained his perfectly preened bouffant for decades, thanks to a couple of essential grooming techniques. He reveals, "The trick is to keep it the right length and dry it upside down. I've been lucky with my hair. I couldn't do it if I'd run out of barnet. Imagine me with a comb-over."

My secret is to dry my hair a little with a towel and then brush my hand thru it once or twice, followed by some finger touchups. Hairspray is then applied to give it a lasting hold.
