They had a time in Brasil as a "hype" group, about 10+ yrs ago, with that album Trinity Sessions.
Then, they "desappeared" to most of my friends and now I heard there is a new album coming. It is any good?
Anybody here already heard it?
I love "The Caution Horses", a truly masterpiece, imo. I spent months listening only that album when it came out.

i used to
i love their first record "whites off earth now", a brilliant bunch of bluesy covers, very dark
and i love the trinity session of course which i think is their best
like caution horses as well and their most country effort, Black eyed man
then i think they start repeating themselves
lately they added a bit of psychedelia flavor and faster pace but i never got hooked again
i saw them twice (Milan and Florence, Italy) and both were great moody performances
the album you talk about i think is 21st century blues where they try to re-apply their early formula (great reworking of blues or rock standards) to more recent stuff
i've heard a couple of times and did not like it |

I can't think of a better female vocalist than Margo Timmins. Her vocals on The Trinity Sessions are unforgettably amazing. |
