Paul McCartney's Concert For New York Due On Two-Disc Benefit Set

Columbia Records will release a two-disc benefit CD on Nov. 27 recorded live at the Concert for New York, Paul McCartney's recent benefit for families and victims of the New York terrorist attacks.
The details for The Concert For New York are still be worked out, according to a spokesperson from Columbia Records, and should be all sealed away by Monday (Oct. 29). Proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund.
The Concert for New York featured performances by McCartney, Elton John and Billy Joel, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Backstreet Boys, and David Bowie, among others. The six-hour benefit has raised over $30 million so far (allstar, Oct. 22).
