ABC TO AIR "BEING MICK, " AN UNPRECEDENTED LOOK INTO THE LIFE OF ROCK LEGEND MICK JAGGER, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22
Special appearances by Bono, Pete Townshend, Wyclef Jean and Lenny Kravitz

"Being Mick," an intimate look at the behind-the-scenes world of rock legend Mick Jagger, will air THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Shot over a year's time, the one-hour special offers unprecedented access to Jagger's personal life as a musician and a family man, and features never-before-seen footage, a portion of which was shot by the famed Rolling Stone himself.

The special also features appearances by "U2's" Bono, "The Who's" Pete Townshend, Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz and others, as they collaborate with the frontman for "the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band" on his first solo album in seven years, "Goddess In The Doorway."

Oscar-winning documentarian Kevin MacDonald ("One Day in September") was given extraordinary entree into Jagger's life -- from his homes in England to recording studios in London and Miami, from the island of Mustique and the French Riviera -- access that allows viewers to see the many sides of the Rolling Stone, as a songwriter, a recording artist, a filmmaker and a father.

Highlights include:

* Jagger on the set of "Enigma," the first film he produced, with Kate Winslet and other stars.

* Jagger at home in London and on holiday in Mustique and the French Riviera, playing with his children.

* Jagger in-studio recording his new album, with daughters Elizabeth and Georgia May singing background vocals.

* Mick collaborating with Lenny Kravitz at Lenny's Miami home and personal studio on the new single from "Goddess In The Doorway," "God Gave Me Everything," which Kravitz co-wrote.

* Jagger reflecting on the English tabloids with daughter Jade.

* Mick recording with "The Who's" Peter Townshend in-studio, as Jerry Hall visits with their son, Gabriel.

* Mick travelling to Germany to record with "U-2's" Bono, who is a featured vocalist on his new album.

* Mick and daughter Elizabeth attending a glittering benefit party at Elton John's palatial home in the English countryside, where the guests include actress Kate Winslet - star of the new film Mick produced, "Enigma."

* Jagger at a Royal Premiere for his film, "Enigma," attended by Prince Charles.

The "Being Mick" special is a Jagged Films production, produced by Victoria Pearman. Executive Producer for ABC is David Saltz, co-producer is Paul Sarony and editorial by Justine Wright.
