Mother baby Ran into an interesting (what I thought was anyway) article in The Boston Sunday Globe two weeks ago.
If anyone here is a jazz/watts/drummer fan you might know the name. I confess I hadn't but I got to thinking about Cahrlie Watts love of jazz so I'm sure he's heard of the guy. Downbeat gave him some kind an award this year. Old boy...76...grew up in Boston ...jazz took him to NYC early on...drummed with every one...

Mother baby Hmmm
No charlie fans here huh? This cat Haynes,76 yr old drumming legend may be a Stones influence, even if he's not and it's almost impossible that he can't be, it's a great 'human interest story" .
