Honky Tonk Man I've often wondered this too. I don't think its genuine at all. I think its a ploy on his part to make out hes not bothered. Jagger is like that. Its his way of playing it cool.

100 % correct. Jagger is a control freak so he knows damned well which album the songs are from. He always stated he isn't interested in the past so this is all part of a performance.
