It looks like Rollingstones.com has corrected the Nov. 25th date. As previously announced, the Stones will play in Vancouver. It was just a typo after all. |

Fucking hell, i am just reading this shit now. Wasnt really sure what all the whining about AC was about, then i read that thread. It's like watching Titanic - every one full of expectations and hope, and then the whole things sinks.
This really is it. They should never have agreed to a further U.S. leg. But, think of why they did. To cover up the Euro hassles. That tour was falling apart too. How many shows did they cancel there - and never re-scheduled.
Dont worry about 2007. Or any other year. This is the end. At least they'll have a nice, shiny doco ala "Last Waltz" to go out on. I bet long-time crew are really dismayed. |

Getting into Oakland won't be bad from Sacto after 6PM... If there was a traffic issue, there's alot of alt. routes too...
I'd love to see Van, in a club, not in a stadium. The Stones do the big production thingy... Poor Van is left out to dry, even if it rains...
I'm sure he's got so local gig... I just haven't checked!

Van does not have any announced shows in the bay area. He did a couple at the Greek Theatre in berkeley a couple monthes ago. |

Now I wish I would have booked the trip! I would still miss the Stones but maybe got there a day early and see Mudhoney again. |
