It's that time again....The Voodoo Pugs are coming back for a special performance at Sam Maguires in Orland Park (39 Orland Square Drive, used to be The Charley Horse). After taking a few months off so that John could help Karen introduce the newest Voodoo Pug fan to the world...their healthy and happy son Michael Joseph Gura!

Murphy's Law will start the show once again and tear the roof off the joint! Get there early to catch their show as they will fill this place up quickly!

The Voodoo Pugs will hit the stage about 9:45 PM and will unleash a revamped set list with many new songs. Of course we will play all the hits: Jumping Jack Flash, Sympathy for the Devil, Honkey Tonk Woman, Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, etc.....but look out, you just may hear the rare ones too like Monkey Man, Dead Flowers, Stray Cat Blues or others.

Check out our website at www.geocities.com/thevoodoopugs for more info or email me directly at [email protected]

We have been practicing hard for this show and it will be fantastic!

voodoopug we have been missing out for years now! How foolish of me not to realize that if we wanted to gather sell out crowds, we needed to start exploiting Joey!
November 2nd, 2004 01:59 PM
glencar Joey hasn't been exploited since he was 14.

glencar More soap? You need to adapt.
November 2nd, 2004 02:07 PM
voodoopug time to exploit him then, here are my ideas:

1. strap him to a chain link fence and offer a chance to rub his thigh with every purchase of a voodoo pugs cd

2. allow joey to play an instrument on stage (unplugged or course) while he has water bottles thrown at him.

3. Change the band name to: "Joey and his fabulous Voodoo PUgs"

4. i could lip sync to Joey's singing voice.

5. bottle up some authentic Joey Sweat and sell it at the show for ten bucks per bottle.

any other suggestions?

John
