corgi37 Cool! We get it here in Oz. I love that show. Ronnie's got a book to flog after all. Should be a few laughs.
22nd October 2007 07:50 AM
glencar I think Seinfeld was just on David last week. Maybe that Bee Movie really needs to be flogged!
22nd October 2007 01:10 PM
Angiegirl Letterman isn't broadcasted in Holland. Used to get it here some years back, for about one season. I did however see the clip on Utube of Dave pissin' off Paris by grilling her on her 'prison stay'. Enjoyed that immensely.

....concur Corgi !!!!!!

David Letterman has ALWAYS been the closest gig to Johnny Carson .

I miss Johnny .....but Letterman has improved even more with the return of Chris Elliot and Gerard Mulligan ( ...two long - time writers / stars on David's show )

JJJJJJJJJACKY !!!!

29th October 2007 12:15 AM
pdog my listing has Joe Torre and Jerry Seinfeld only... I'll record it anyway... He's got some good guests this week.
Ryan Adams on Friday...
29th October 2007 06:57 AM
SweetVirginia I think Ronnie got bumped when Joe Torre agreed to come on. I'll set the recorder, too, just in case.

Humiliation...bumped by an unemployed baseball manager?
29th October 2007 11:12 AM
gimmekeef Tuesdays lineup show 3 guests with Slash as one of them.I think then that would confirm Ronnie is off tonight or they'd list him as 3rd guest....

Slash is the Ian Billen of guitar players. I should know, I'm dead.

29th October 2007 04:25 PM
steel driving hammer If they bump Ronnie he should not come back.

Like he should just wait around until "their" ready.

If anything, he should go Regis n' Kelly then.

Anyone see Charlie on Regis a while back? I did.

Possibly, although there's also the fact that Slash and Ronnie are good mates. (Slash played at Ronnie's solo shows in December 2001 amongst other collaborations)
29th October 2007 04:50 PM
steel driving hammer Yeah but shouldn't Ronnie invite Slash and not Slash invite Ronnie?

Somethings going on here!

Why? Neither of them are that big a deal outside of the band that they're known for playing in.

Plus the fact that as a guitarist, Slash is far better unfortunately.

Ronnie has very cool reputation here actually, w/ those who know rock and roll.

Slash better? Only doing fast n' messy leads yes.

Ronnie Be Goode!

What's 'cool' got to do with anything?

I 'know' rock 'n' roll as good as anyone. I have two ears.

I love Ronnie and I'm neither a G n R fan nor an adept musician, but having seen the two of them share the same stage, anyone who thinks Ronnie is a better guitarist is deaf, insane, guilty of blind idolatry or all three.
29th October 2007 05:16 PM
steel driving hammer I still prefer Ronnie.

No..I just prefer the sort of music he plays.

Segovia is better than Keith Richards, but that doesnt mean I prefer listening to him.
29th October 2007 05:26 PM
steel driving hammer Like Keith says...

Thats just too deep for me baby...

Salut.
