No she doesn't!

I had a days trial with a promotions firm a few weeks back. I sensed things were not going well, so I told them I'd been having a hard time living with an alcoholic girlfreind!

Whats the club like?

I'm not so sure about the club. I used to live in Welling and could get the night bus home, but now I'm in Dartford and it'd be a little harder to get back.

I must admit, I do like Walkabout. I went there a few months back with my brother, but we left after an hour because he felt it was too rowdy! Aside from the fact that it takes an absoloute age to get served, it's a hoot. Youget some fucking great birds in there too!

Do you have them in Leeds?
November 3rd, 2005 04:39 AM
Voodoo Scrounge The club in Holborn is affiliatedwith the LSE (London School of Economics). Jagger used to go there, so there is semi stones link there!

I once sang Karaoke with Chelsea Clinton in the student union bar at LSE. What a claim to fame. We sang "Legs" by zz Top

I hope you weren't a student! Penny pinching, tight fisted, know it alls! That was a Joke!

There is actually a really good club at Kings College in London. The drink is cheap and it only costs a fiver to get in with a flyer.

November 3rd, 2005 05:24 AM
Voodoo Scrounge An ex of mine studied there.

So we gonna meet this fabio or what then?

I watched that match in the bar at my old work place. I'd much rather watched it at Walkabiut. Actually, I've never been in there before about 10pm. I can't imagine what it's like during the day. The coolest thing about the place is the gents toilets. You can watch sport while you're having a pee!

Did you ever get kicked out of there? It makes me laugh. They advertise shots and all these special deals and yet as soon as you look a little wobberly, you're kicked out!
November 3rd, 2005 06:08 AM
Voodoo Scrounge I dont like walkabouts. They are too aggresive, both the bouncers and the guys in there. True, there are some nice girls, but you can find those anywhere

Theres a couple of reasons as to why it's a aggresive in there. Firstly, many get in there at lunch time and end up staying for the club part and it's just too packed in there most nights. You can't move without bumping into someone. People get frustrated when it's like that, but the agressivnes is mainly due to the first reason.

Yeah I did get kicked out once and yes I was hammered!
The toilets also have like men in there who give you hand towels and sell you aftershave...I found that a a bit weird...I mean jesus let me take my piss and watch the footy!

Walkabouts are generally shite yes but Temple Walkabout is different somehow?!
