DJAsh RIP John .

I think it was wrong of Radio 1 to push his midweek show back to a timeslot of 11 - 1 , knowing that he was basically past retirement age and had recently become a diabetic .

John was working on his autobiography , shame it wasn't finished as I reckon it would have been an absorbing read . Likely to have been some interesting Stones anecdotes too. In one of the Brian Jones books , for instance , John recounted his meetings with Brian and stated interestingly that Jones was nothing like his public persona and was "being misrepresented".
