I know what my gut tells me...I know what my wallet tells me...I know what my heart tells me...so...here's the deal...
After a scoring a miricle $60.00 ticket thru simple solicitations on the boards...i go to AC...even after hearing the sad news at about the 2 hr mark of a 3 1/2 hr ride to the show...I still go ...had a great time at ACB&G...had a great time kinda being a lone, lost soul for the nite (I was solo on this trip)...
So far so good...
The RS re-schedule for Nov 17th...OK...great news for us...now the dilema...I HAVE FOUR AWESOME SEATS FOR BOB DYLAN THAT NITE IN VIRGINIA!!! I have 2 friends coming in from VT for this thing...and my boss is joining us (who byw...was also heading to AC...I called him as he was entering Blt'more...he went back home)
WHAT DO I DO?
AC?...BD?...AC and sell BD tix?

No brainer.
Dylan.
Get your AC ticket refunded.
Look, Mick wasn't sick. He was well enough to do a full rehearsal at the Beacon the very next afternoon.
You were lied to and shit on. Don't reward Stones Inc for that kind of treatment.
Go see Bob. He'll treat you right. |

Greats seats for Dylan and the Racs in you neck of the woods vs. back of the building for The Stones and god-knows-who hundreds of miles from home?
Gimme Zimmy. |

Ha, ha, everybody's going for Dylan on a Stones board!
And...I would have been at the Dylan show too!
It's a real stab in the back, that AC cancellation.
If the question was Dylan or Beacon...that's a tricky one.. |

Was it more Michael Cole or more Mick? |

It was actually Clarence Williams III. |

Who cares who it was?
These are the facts. Show was cancelled due to Mick having a sore throat, and being advised not to perform by a doctor. The very next afternoon Mick did a full rehearsal at The Beacon. So much for that sore throat eh?
They waited to announce the cancellation of the show until they were sure that all the out-of-towners were already in AC, or on the way.
Given that, does it really matter who is responsible? I think that they are ALL responsible to some degree. And it disgusts me. |

I say Dylan, especially since they're better seats. |

Well, Dylan, who always shows up unless he has a life threatening heart condition, wont give you refunds to go see the Stones instead. So I say Dylan.
Now what if I said Gwar was playing the same day as the hypothetically rescheduled LA gig. Who do you go see? |

Gwar.

But Gwar will cost me $22 which is more than I planned on spending to get into Dodger Stadium. But that's probably because Gwar has a bigger and more elaborate stage show. |

Actually, no.
And it wasn't Peggy Lipton, either.
None of The Mod Squad had anything to do with it.
Michael Cohl?
Maybe. |

Dylan is brutal in concert these days, he played in front of an empty house near chicago last week and got horrible reviews. Go to AC, at the worst you could play 3 card poker and enjoy a massage in the hotel spa. |

PA, I have Dylan tickets for 11/16, which is cutting it too close for me. I don't know what to tell you. Only you know what you really want to do. I don't even know what I'm going to do.
I need time to think about this. It's been one fucked-up weekend.
