voodoopug As of 3:21 P.M. EST, Josh has just informed me that he and his male companion (his son) have sequestered themselves in the penthouse suite at the Lowes in Philidelphia. While he is excited that a bus ride is not his future, as his young son was not even sure what a bus was, Josh tells me he feels total humiliation as his son told him that he would rather have studyed for his biology class than fly half way to Greenland for a concert that is not happening.

Josh explained that a bus is a very tall limo that seats several working class people or several drunk males and two strippers during bach parties. On the positive side, it does have a restroom similar to that found in the parking lot of the Boca Raton Country Club (not for members, but rather for use by contracted employees during the Shuffle Board Court Expansion project of 2003.

At this time, Josh and companion are not granting any interviews and have no statement to anyone else other than Board Members. He sends a "How I wish you were here to Joey".

Tragically, the IBS has returned (onset by expired cheese on a cheesesteak he bought from a street vendor) and they had to adjourn to the executive lounge area while the "mistakes" were cleaned up.

I feel horrible for Josh as he feels the flight home will be the longest first class flight of his life! Not even the hot towel or fresh cookie will help!

This excursion has cost the jb household in excess of 4K, and I fear for the first lawsuit filed against the evil insurance agents of our country. This ones gonna be personal!

As the final nail in the coffin.....Monster shit in his Guici Loafers a few hours ago!

He was laughing uncontrollably in as he is going through a chain of emotions at this point. I reminded him how I told him when he was praising the cancelling of shows in poorly sold Euro markets that it was going to bite him in the ass. He fully expects Gazza to tear him a new one when he returns, ashamed!

Some Guy Didn't you sell him the ticket and encourage him to go?

That was the Beacon. I encouraged him to not go to this show as the area is brutal this time of year and instead go to Vegas, but sadly, he did not use adda as I had stressed!

I missed the bus.. I missed the bus..
I missed the bus.. I missed the bus..

[Verse 1]
I went to bed late but I didn't think late would EFFECT ME
Early came around then late wouldn't LET ME
Wake up - WAKE UP - so I can get dressed
I guess my body was mad 'cause I gave it no rest
And when I finally did awake it was a quarter to 8:00
Jumped in the shower and I know I was late
Stepped out put on my jeans and my ewings
And said to myself if I miss school I'm ruined
But I ran down hill and I RUSHED RUSHED
I ran down the hill TRYIN TO CATCH THE BUS
Now I'm hopin to myself everything is cool
Standin on my block like a fool
for (1) I'm all alone and (2) the bus is gone
(3) if I miss school this weekend I'll be at home
Can somebody come real fast to my rescue
I'm stuck at the crib and I don't know what to do

[Chorus: repeat 2x]
I missed the bus [ohh]

I missed the bus
I missed the bus [ohh]
And that is somethin I will never ever ever do again

[verse 2]
I was up - HE WAS UP - but I laid back down
Thinkin I could chill 'til the time came around
And I did - HE DID - but a little too long
Cause when I woke up yo the bus was gone
I almost broke my neck, tryin to get out the door
And I chased the bus 'til my feet was sore
On the trail - THE TAIL - but I couldn't catch up
I guess it must have been my day for me to have bad luck
Cause I lost my lunch money, book bag busted
Scuffed up my sneakers and I'm really disgusted
And when I got to school it was the same old thing
Stepped in the class and the school bell rang
It was nothin I could do, I tried to explain
But the teacher treated me like I was playin a game
YOU LOSE YOU LOSE - the day was a no win
I learned to never miss my bus again

[Chorus]
27th October 2006 04:12 PM
sirmoonie Things became unbearable for JB on the bus, and he finally convinced the driver to pull over while the geeks inside jeered.

27th October 2006 04:12 PM
voodoopug UPDATE: Due to High Winds, Josh is not able to obtain a private jet to have him and male companion flown back to Boca Raton. He will have to sit in Phili with his son and sulk (see: Fresh Prince of Bel Aire when the young nephew watched Will Smith beat up his favorite TV character).
27th October 2006 04:14 PM
Joey " At this time, Josh and companion are not granting any interviews and have no statement to anyone else other than Board Members. He sends a "How I wish you were here to Joey". "

Nellcote He needs to reinact Rocky at the famous scene, running up the stairs of the museum, while in Philly, to regain positve karma. After all, isn't it about "Doing it For The Kids?"

nankerphelge We have decided to institute a class action against The Stones, Martin Scorcese, Michael Cohl, the venue, and all persons associated therewith.

We are QUITE similarly situated.

Martin is responsible for interference with contract.

Damages boys

DAMAGES!!!

Check it out.

They do a nice thing and get all of these people into the Beacon. And now, since it's such a huge extravaganza and they need to prep for it, a bunch of great fans get the shaft.

Simply put, the AC-inians are getting cock-n-balled. This is a double-edged dildo - er - I mean, double-edged sword.

All of this Beacon stuff was worked in within the last week or so. They truly screwed this up.

Congrats to the fans that were chosen to go to the Beacon. But I feel sad for those that went to the AC with plans way ahead of time. To get burned this late in the game is mucky.

Ha! NO one will see a dime of a refund. and a class action lawsuit against the band and those associated will work about as well as the one against Scott Sapp and Creed a few years back.

Yes it sucks, but reality is, this is not the first time a show has been cancelled, and won't be the last. Please be safe everyone!

yep - afraid to say it, but I genuinely believe this to be the case. The Stones havent played a show for several days, so how bad can Mick's throat be unless he's knackered himself 'rehearsing' for the Beacon?

Bottom line is that a genuine tour show gets pulled, inconveniencing 12,000 fans, many of whom have spent a small fortune on tickets, hotels and flights - just so their fucking 'concert film' (which will be overdubbed to hell anyway hence the need for a day of extra shoots) can go without a hitch.

Thats where their priorities lie. Anyone who believes otherwise is in cloud-cuckoo land.

And for the record, rs.com have changed their list of scheduled dates to show this gig as taking place on 17th November - as if it was always on that date.. Yet there's still nothing on the main page about tonight's show being postponed.

Pug, I'm starting to think you guys are getting your decision making skills from ABBA , not adda.

BS--colds and infections do not follow schedules so your guess is mere idle speculation at best, BS at worst
