Yep - I hope to hell this show wasn't pulled as a 'precaution' just because they have the 'more important' Beacon shows coming up
Sadly, the inevitable result of playing so many outdoor shows in cold weather at this time of year.
did you really think otherwise Gazza??? Remember when Lisa Fischer didnt perform at the Roseland because of the more important MSG show during Licks? THey have a big money project coming up this weekend and cannot cancel that one as easy. I recall telling my wife once I heard about the Scorsese involvement that we better not go to AC, its either going to be a shortened or cancelled set
My regards go out to those who spent their dime to get out there. May you be rewarded with a great night at the tables. |

I know I'm a natural cynic, Pug but that was indeed my first reaction. Fact is too, theyve been rehearsing at the Beacon now for a few days as well. Doing so wont have done Mick's voice any good - so much for taking one show at a time |

Just my husband and me here at the moment...but that alone could be a formidable tab. I'll be seeing the others soon. The bar manager told us two of the Stones had already arrived before the cancellation announcement. |

Come on it's true. This show is a waste of time now that the Beacon has become such a landmark event. Movie and Clinton and all!
If it were sold out I'd think otherwise but it's not even close. AND it's such a small indoor venue. The fact it didn't sell out must make the band feel like crap.
Please this is not a voice problem.

Dont be fuckin' daft! Not unless theyre about to unveil a fuckin commemorative T-shirt to mark the cancellation
I hear they're working on a design for a T-shirt to commemorate all the shows that have been pulled or rescheduled this year - with the dates on the back and a big "cancelled" emblazoned across it.

Right on Gazza.
Next we'll hear about a rumour that if you order the shirt before 5pm the show will actually take place but only for those who ordered the shirt. |

And of course you'll have to be fan club member, but they'll be nice enough to let you buy a platinum membership before 5pm.
Unfortunately but not surprisingly, legacy members will not get a first crack at buying the shirts in a pre-sale, ie. 4pm |
