It's on the list of songs they rehearsed in Toronto last Summer. Don't know if it has been rehearsed recently.

i beg them NOT to do this as Sway turned out mighty miserable on its first tour.
25th October 2006 10:13 PM
ExileInLA why do we expect anything different from these guys at this point? they will whip out "She's So Cold" and people will make a big deal about it being included on such a special DVD.

big fucking deal.

i expect nothing but the usual. i even expect JJF to open and Brown Sugar to close. nothing new.

will keith have to overdub his parts for this one after the fact? we'll see.
25th October 2006 10:22 PM

Ah, the irony!! The fucking irony!!!
29th October 2006 01:53 PM
speedfreakjive i have another perspective as pointed out by the Stones in
'According To The Rolling Stones' - they can play all the
warhorses in slightly different ways each night - or completely alter the structure or style of each song. A good example of this is Tumblin' Dice from the Rarities album; it has become a pastiche of the original, more like big band swing with all the horns! And Sway which is almost like reggae to me! So you can see why they stick to the warhorses - they have to be consistent.
If they were to do some rarer tracks - at their age and with the other songs being played so much, the risk of performance disaster is increased, as we saw on the last tour (HOF, Dance) and this tour with T & A.

however!
i would like to see these performed - more likely at the second show;
- Hand Of Fate
- Heartbreaker
- Twenty Flight Rock
