Cardinal Ximinez ....with the world tonight. Mick & Keef were on a stage, playing Stones songs together. I am glowing like a pregnant woman. For a few precious moments, nothing mattered but the music.

Man, I needed that.

Also great tonight were: The Who, Clapton & Buddy, Bowie, Operaman, and the Irish firefighter who told Bin Laden to kiss his Irish ass, and called him a bitch. Funny, but the censors let that go thru. And Macca.

Not so good: Destiny's Child(pick a note and stick with it for God sake!), Backstreet Boys(How are these guys famous?), Macy Gray(I loathe people who fuck up Beatles songs, or try to make them into something they are not. I'll Get By With A Little Help is NOT a reggae song! And I love reggae.) Five For Fighting. That guy sounded like he was wounded and crying to be put out of his misery!

Did anyone else catch the shot of the FDNY guy who put a Stones tongue on the crest of his FDNY T-shirt? I need one of those. Tomorrow, I'm wearing my "Keith Richards for President" t-shirt to work.
