I brought my acoustic guitar to work today and started playing some of Stones stuff. I couldn't help but feel like "She Saw Me Coming" must have been inspired by Zevon's "Lawyer's Guns and Money." Not as good as the LGM riff, but fun.
I also played "Biggest Mistake" and "Let Me Down Slow." They are so basic, but have life in and around the chorus. Then I played "Already over Me" and "Always Suffering," and they both just conjure a dog in pain straining to take a shit. I guess a Bigger Bang's an improvement! |
