Uh oh, looks like the Nouvel Obs' (the French mag) confused "Rolling Stone supports Kerry" with "The Rolling Stones support..."! The boys haven't taken a stand in this election. Mick even went on record saying that didn't want to speak about it as he isn't American and doesn't have a vote in this.
Or maybe they heard about Kerry being a Stones fan and assumed the reverse was true...

FTI of non-French people here, the Nouvel Obs' is a famous left-wing weekly newsmagazine and they have a liberal, enlightened and sometimes radical POV. In the past they supported the ban on death penalty and the "freedom of choice" for women. Now they are campaigning for equal rights for gay families... and for a "rational" legalization of cannabis!   |
