Some Guy Out Of Our Heads
I really dig this one... literally. I was digging around in a large bag full of cassettes and out it came. I haven't grooved to it in a while. Very cool album! So find it and play it loud this weekend!! Every song is a gem, but Good Times gets me swaying! Rock on!!

wow - a full day early. ahead of yourself, Some Guy?

Mr. D Great record! In my mind this is the first really great record the boys ever made. It kicks off so strong with "Have mercy", which by the way needs to be played live next tour. It just continues from there. "Good Times", what a song. "Thats How Strong My Love Is" and "Spider and the Fly" are two of my favorites. Then there's of course the three hits off the record. All around a great listen.

You're right - Heads is the first great record. And when they hit Satisfaction, it's like you can hear the band actually evolve into immortality. Amazing.

mac_daddy i enjoy the album quite a bit, too...

i will say that i enjoy mickboy's "get your kicks on this (vol. 2)" even more. nothing compares to the SACD release, but the extras on GYKOTv2 are outstanding. highlights include "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" and some live tracks that sound wonderful - best i have ever heard from that period...

glencar "That's How Strong My Love Is" is all you need to say. Well, after "Satisfaction" that is!

Thats true....it's just one of those tracks you hear all of the time, yet you still listen. It is such a landmark not only for the band but rock music in general...even if the Stones disbanded in 1965, Satisfaction would still remain a classic.

T&A me? I've got the Singles Box and More Hot Rocks SACD discs playing continuously in a randomized 5-disc rotation. I highly recommend!
