Topic: Seeing The Stones Return to archive

no_cole_porter Hey Everyone,
I've got a question for you all. Now I know most people on this board made it to the Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges and No Security tours, But did anyone see the Stones during the 60's? Or make it to Altamont? Maybe you'd seen them during the 72' or 75 Tour of The America's.

Perhaps someone even attended a taping of The Ed Sullivan Show when the boys played. The reason I ask is because I was talking to someone who said they'd seen The Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1965. I didn't know if I should believe him or not.

But I think it would have been interesting to see The Stones at the Marquee Club or something. Even at the sparsely attended first Tour Of America in 63/64'.
