I wouldn't complain if I were Woody though. Hell, I'd be a Rolling Stone for free! Wait! No! I'd pay them. |

Everyone should listen to "Winter" on head phones.
then
listen to "All Down the line" on headphones.
one is elegant, well timed phrasing, beautifully played lines; and the other is balls to the wall screamin slide guitar. it's opposite sides of the same coin. Taylor's style. amazing.

Yep, they fucked up when they screwed Taylor over. He is one awesome guitar player. I love Woody...his personality is awesome, his artwork is extraordinary...but he cannot compete with Taylor on guitar. |

here's an example of the vast differences between band members, from Bill Wyman himself:
March 1971
Rock Royalties(songwriting royalties):
Bill Wyman: $662*
Charlie Watts: $251
The estate of Brian Jones: $251
Ian Stewart: $251
Mick Jagger: $805,581
Keith Richards: $805,629
*Bill's one songwriting credit from the Satanic LP
From Wyman's book

Taylor was brilliant in his role.He just didnt like it and lets face it The Glimmers are large personalities who could dominate in any way.Bet he kicks himself in the ass though when he looks at all the touring dough he's missed out on.Hell I bet Bernard Fowler's made more money than Taylor over the years.Maybe it wasnt about the money?...Hey its always about the money!!! |

You can't forget that Ronnie did not receive credit for IORR--when Keith had nothing to do with it. That's completely unfair. Ronnie is a good sport--how long was he with the band until he was finally an "official member?" 15 years? That's bullshit. But, hey, I'd do it free just to be a STONE.
i think ronnie stay by contract since 1975 until 1994!
in 1994 he becames official member!
i think too who the quit of Bill Wymann in 1993 contribute to do Ronnie a official member!
i too do it free to be a stone! lol
i see in a news jan-75 that ronnie will pay by the tour of the americas (TOTA 1975)75.000 pound sterling(=english money) |
