Jerry Hall hasn't graduated from stage fright in LA production
Associated Press
LOS ANGELES - Jerry Hall played the seductive but troubled Mrs. Robinson in London and the touring national production of "The Graduate," but it was the Los Angeles premiere of the play that gave her the butterflies.
"I was soooo nervous," Hall said at the after party in Beverly Hills. "Something about being here makes me nervous. So many actors maybe."
The actress arrived at the party with her former stepdaughter Karis Jagger and received enthusiastic reviews from fellow actors Sally Kirkland and Rebecca De Mornay, who attended the premiere.
Former Mrs. Robinsons have included Anne Bancroft in the 1967 film and Kathleen Turner on Broadway.
