Always liked that song!

For those who haven't seen it yet,

16th October 2007 05:08 PM
gotdablouse Yeah it's been on the tube for a while, always wondered how/why it was put together, maybe when they rehearsed for the 88 tours...

Must admit I always like that song, seeing as it's a song where Mick hasn't talking about chicks or his c*ck, too bad it wasn't recorded during WS though, production wise...
16th October 2007 05:10 PM
lotsajizz I am SO glad I never bought that album.....
16th October 2007 06:17 PM

May be wrong but I think they released it as a single in Australia to coincide with the tour there, hence the video.

I would doubt that any of U2 have seen it, except for Bono, who had a similarly bad mullet around that time
16th October 2007 09:19 PM
andrews27 Actually, if you're into vinyl and have a good system and phono cartridge, this song and Say You Will show off an audio system very well.

glencar Love that fucking song & I sang along at full blast. Thanks so much for the video, Steelie but I believe I did insert it into the youtube thread a week or two back. I will say that the video isn't as good as the song but hey! it was the 80's.
17th October 2007 02:36 AM
The Wick A fucking humiliating piece of crap. How one of the geniuses of the 20th century came up with that is beyond me...oh hang on, we still have War Baby, Peace for the Wicked and few other gems to cringe over.

Moledmc Horrific. Still the artwork is genius.

Think I remember it now but didn't click it cause I didn't like the image & didn't know what it was.

But I remember the image now.

Was it all just crazy fashion?

I said Oh Yeah!

I think that guy is the most embarassing thing about this video.
18th October 2007 06:35 AM
corgi37 Jimmy Rip - He was dreadful! It was like he was some joker playing along to Keith in his bedroom. He even had a Keith scarf, and he staggered around too.

Phillips on drums was sensational however! High light of the show.

Don't be so sure . . .

Anyone notice the kid in the first shot had a Brian Jones haircut and shirt?
