....that by the time you are 17 you must have erected a Great Wall of Stonesia in your bedroom yet? It should be.
Are you almost finished Prodigal Son?

Prodigal Son |
Not yet. Under construction though. All the best will adorn the place: Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Who, Hendrix, Van Morrison, Neil young, Led Zeppelin, Clapton/Cream, Kinks, Byrds, oh hell the list goes on. |

Indeed, my Wall of Stonesia is coming along well. It takes up the largest wall of my room, but so far, it's only the middle third. There aren't many posters per se; mainly pictures I've printed off the computer or cut out of magazines. There's a fake "Tour 1968" poster I made that I put up, and this poster I made as a visual aide for my freshman year speech class on Brian Jones (I got the best grade in the class). Also, there's my original copy (w/ picture sleeve) of "Jumping Jack Flash b/w Child of the Moon." THAT'S my crowning glory, my friends. At least, until I find on original picture sleeve of HYSYMBSITS? (in drag). |

See, now here is the cool part of being a "Grown Up". My entire basement bar is one giant Wall of Stonesia. Actually it's about 7 Walls of Stonesia.
So this is something you young whippersnappers can strive for.

Stevie,I have a nice scan of the JJF cover on my site here:
http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/hotstuff/images/enter8.html
If ya want to use it for your avatar, I grant you permission since you're so cool. You'd have to save it to disk first, then send to Voodoo et al.
What do I ask in return? That you sell your soul...oh, wait...that u bless my site with your presence, child....perhaps a copy of that BJ poster for my artwork section? |

I have the JJF b/w COTM Pic Sleeve. It's in perfect condition. I bought it at the record convention while I was in Cleveland this summer. It's beautiful. One of my all-time fave pics of the Jones era Stones. |

Miss U, you're the grooviest! I think I still have all the stuff I made for that poster. Four pics of Brian, little blurbs about each picture, and a nice title in the middle: Brian Jones: Please Don't Judge Me Too Harshly 1942-1969
If I can't scan it, I'll send you all the stuff so you can construct your own in any way you choose! All it takes is a printer, two sheets of computer paper, and a love for Brian! |
