Topic: Still here, but was busy with a big project. (SC, though you could dispute it...) Return to archive

egon VERY big project, so hadn't had much time to post/read.

1st; A happy belated beerday to everyone that had a
birthday in the last couple of months.

2nd; Corgi, my King. Sorry to hear about your mother.
Lives a bich. All the strenght to your family!
(btw, australia is on the cards for end 2007...)

3rd; RS.CON sucks (just like to say that)

4th; I love Rocks Off. Thank you Gazza, Voodoo & jaxx!

Now.... my big project (pay attention, here comes the SC)

I've got a Nokia state of the art phone.
It has sms, email, a photo & filmcamera
AND i can call people with it.

It also has 6.348 different ringtones...., all of them shit.

So it was time to find me a good rolling stones related ringtone.

But of course i was definitely not going to download and pay for a new one.

And i wouldn't want "start me up" or "brown sugar"
screaming out of my phone every time someone calls me (yes, i do have 'some' friends).

No, i needed something delicate, soft & sophisticated (like me).

I then remembered that deep in the archives at casa Van de Vrugt,
i had a remix burried away of "anybody seen my baby".
A mix by Don has been....

It is probably the worst remix of a stones song ever (techno style & shit),
BUT..., the intro is fantastic!

I put my Nero wav editor to work and after a few minutes... plus a month or so,
This was the final result;

So please; feel free to call me anytime!

Now if you excuse me, I have a weekend to catch!

Cheers,
Egon (dutch since 1971)

Oh don't worry...the entire ROCC will download your ringtone.

You let me know where you'll be this summer and we'll arrange something.

Perhaps we can all meet at JB's Florida estate.

glencar It's good to see you again Egon. I usually think of you as Dutch since the French bug me so much. Except for Ju. He's Dutch too, no?
20th October 2006 11:50 AM
egon In a way, we are ALL Dutch!

You must be having the time of your life with this whole
france-armenia-turkey thing..?

What thing is that? Our crappy CNN doesn't tell us ANYTHING about the rest of the world.
20th October 2006 11:56 AM
egon france passed a law which says
that you can't deny the genoicide by the turks against the armeniens.

Turkey is not happy, as

a) many turks say it never happended (it was a 'normal' war
b) many turks hate the armeniens.
c) many turks believe it's none of france it's business.

Regards,
EgoCNn
