Topic: New Mick Taylor album due out November Return to archive
10-08-01 10:24 AM
VoodooChileInWOnderl As Mick told me when he played here, the new album will be out no later than November. Click here for that thread. It is important to note that he is also recording another album with special gusts like Bonnie Raitt.

Today it was announce with full details at IORR:

Oct. 8: New Mick Taylor album due out next month

There will be another Mick album due out next month, as Mick Taylor will release a new album as well. The CD is a collaboration with Japanese writer and pianist Miyuki Katsuno. Mick plays all guitars and co-wrote some of the material. Also on the album is saxist Tim Garland from the Chick Corea Band and trumpeter Byron Wallen. The CD is all instrumental and quite a change from MT's previous outings. Some of the music will be streamed from Sierra Bravo later this week, as soon as it has been mastered.

Also this was posted there yesterday:

Oct. 7: Ronnie Wood on UK TV last night

Ronnie Wood and his band appeared on the Lily Live! show on ITV (UK) last night. The band includes his son Jesse and two band members from Glyda plus Leah on backing vocals. They played Leaving Here - an old BIRDS number. Ronnie said they would be playing Dublin & London in early December.

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board.
The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
