Primal Scream 'rocks' 'jailbird' 'movin on up' have a very strong stones groove. They used Jimmy Miller to do some of the mixing. Wonder if the Swatzikas he carved out during 'Goats Head' inspired 'Swatsika Eyes' by Primal Scream??
If you want a taste of these guys, try:
'Screamadelica' is their blissful and happy album.
'Xterminator' is harder
'Dirty Hits' is their greatest hits. Calling it 'HardKnox&DirtySox' would have been a winner.
The link goes deeper still, Anita Pallenberg wears the band's 'Kill All Hippies' t-shirt. |

early in their career the Black Crowes attempted to record a record with Jimmy Miller but at the time Jimmy was apparently too far gone and they found him to be too out of it to work with |
