So why are the Rolling Stones expanding the "Bigger Bang World Tour" into next year if they are not selling seats like they should be doing? Besides can't we all agree that like the last Fleetwood Mac new studio l.p. the public aren't going to know that there is some new project if they don't get air play and there are hardly any short promotional films (music videos) for their songs? Please don't respond that short promotional films aren't neccessary as they were done many years before MTV and seem to help all these other recording artists nowadays. The Stones have basically always done them...and Fleetwood Mac. So where's the promotion? People seem to act surprised that the public aren't interested in something new but I can't say I would either if it didn't get some attention and support. What's the deal and problem here? |

A Bigger Bang is the biggest tour of all time. Sure, they had had a bad bad showing in Chicago. Who cares?
They have had bad nights in other places many times before. What people forget is that this was the 10th time playing Chicago since 2002. And at the prices they are charging what do they expect?
Bottom line: The Rolling Stones are playing on average to around 50,000 people per night on the biggest tour of all time in their mid 60's. |

just a hunch but maybe its to make things up to three quarters of a million people who bought tickets for shows this year that they didnt perform?
The only American shows selling poorly are in markets theyve been through three or four times already.. Theres quite a few markets still waiting their FIRST visit this tour,.... |

Having seen them 3 times in the last three weeks I can assure you that you are wrong on all counts in the above.

Wrong again. Less each time out....Foxboro and Chicago were 38-48,000 attendance
