They didn't play the actual song (JAN). From Bill German's Beggars Banquet:
"Jeff Beck warranted dirty looks from Keith when he started the opening riff to Mick's 'Just Another Night'. He stopped the teasing immediately." |

The only Stones show in the last 42 years to include not a single Jagger/Richards song. Tribute show for Ian Stewart, taking place a couple of days before the Stones were presented (via satellite) with a Grammy Lifetime achievement award
Apparently, its also the only show since the early 70's that the band specifically requested NOT be recorded in any way (the crew have recorded pretty much all the rest via the soundboard)
Charlie missed the first 5 songs or so as he was late arriving because he was stuck in traffic. Simon Kirke deputised on drums until he arrived.
Private show for family and friends only. No tape has emerged from it and almost certainly never will.

Oh yeah. There was a recording of that surfaced within a few weeks. Theres a boot of it called "One Down, 55 to Go"
The only pre-tour warm-up club shows that havent surfaced as yet have been
Sir Morgans Cove, Worcester, 14.9.81
Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto 4.9.97
Phoenix, Toronto 10.9.05
Although the theatre show in Aberdeen and the 100 Club show from London in May 1982 havent surfaced either

While those club shows have not surfaced, what you seem to be implying Gazza is that somewhere in the Stones org more than likely is a Sbd tape of those shows. In theory of course. We won't know until it comes out.
I think the most interesting one would have to be Worcester.
Any one have the 12in of Time Is On My Side from Still Life, I believe the back photo is from Worcester.
