I've been watching "Ladies and Gentlemen" again and I'm under the Glimmer Twins sharing one mic spell Reminded me of my first (and only so far!) trip to London in 1998 and how mesmerized I felt after seeing the wax edition of the Twins:
After getting over the initial shock, I spent the rest of the hour trying to find a way closer to the balcony they were located They should sell them at the shop on the way out  |

An amazing new find for me this week has been Bent Rej's "In the beginning" - wonderful book full of amazing pictures, highly recommended.
Sorry for the bad quality of some of the scanned pictures - my scanner wasn't big enough to cover the book
Here's a quite historic bit, don't know if you guys have seen this before.
And copying from the book:
"I had been taking the photographs you have seen on the previous four pages and I was walking from the auditorium towards the backstage area when a girl came up to me and asked me to take her to meet the Stones. She was very pretty and so I had no hesitation - it was part of my job. Her name was Anita Pallenberg; and when she got backstage it was Brian who took over". |
