Kat gets Grunts for �Glimmer Twins� journey
An update on hot, young songstress, Kat Kramer and her �Glimmer Twins� tribute project: an album, documentary and coffee table book with photos by William Claxton. Kat is the daughter of legendary filmmaker, Stanley Kramer and the godchild of Katharine Hepburn.
Here�s the latest skinny:
The producer of the album is Dave Wilkins, who is a member of the hot Australian band, �Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts� (TOFOG) and his bandmates Dave Kelly and Stewart Kirwan are playing on the album along with Stones musicians. Dave K. is also a cameraman/documentarian and he�s shooting the documentary with his team. Bryant Jackson, an Austin, Texas-based filmmaker, is also involved in the �Glimmer Twins� documentary. He is the co-producer, line producer of the upcoming TOFOG documentary, �Texas�, as well as the producer of TOFOG�s music video, �Things Have Got To Change�. All have been influenced by the music of Jagger/Richards. Especially, Wilkins, who is a creative visionary on how the songs will be recreated.
Kat is a big TOFOG admirer as well as Stones enthusiast, and absolutely loves the �Texas� documentary. She is very excited by her team of players and there will be more surprises to announce soon! Dave Kelly plays drums with TOFOG and will be playing on the Jagger/Richards songs with Kat as the main vocalist, surrounded by musicians who have played with Mick �n Keith. Stewart Kirwan plays trumpet and will add his unique sound to various tracks. The production coordinator is Bruno De Oliva, who works with TOFOG and who will be overseeing �The Glimmer Twins� project.
