Miss U. I have an interview on tape with Keith from a long radio show on the history of the Stones....and on it he says something like in the 70s their money was being diverted into a company .....mumble, mumble, mumble....making bombs...more mumbling......slurring, mumble...???

Anyone heard this or know exactly what he was referring to??

Not sure if Klein had anything to do with that. But the gist of it was the band was completely unaware at the time the money was going into supporting war.

stonedinaustralia I too have read similiar comments. I believe he's referring to their original label Decca - the label being a smaller part of a larger operation whose main business was developing defence (i.e. war)technology.

Miss U. What was the name of this larger company, then? And when/for how long was this? Did the Stones cut off ties with Decca when they found out?
