Dan Gross | Mick Jagger hits Rouge
philly.com
TIME AND five bodyguards were on Mick Jagger's side yesterday when he hit Rouge (205 S. 18th) for lunch with one of his sons.
Sir Mick and the Rolling Stones played Monday and will play again tonight at the Wachovia Center. He and his offspring were seated in the back sofa area of the restaurant and feasted on roast chicken, ravioli, fries, mixed greens, and some green beans.
Two of Jagger's bodyguards were positioned at an outside table and stopped patrons from going near the ageless rocker's table, and also tried to keep people from using the nearby restrooms.
Rouge owner Neil Stein spent some time on door duty telling assembled gawkers outside that they couldn't come in.
Jagger hurried into a black limousine that had been idling on 18th Street after one of his entourage paid his table's check, leaving a 40 percent tip.
Stein, who caught Monday's Stones show, didn't get to talk to Jagger, but says "things like this are probably the only reason I want to be in the restaurant business."
• In other Stones feeding news, a crew member Monday picked up a huge order from Jim's Steaks (4th & South) for the blokes and their crew. They ordered 140 steaks, most made with Whiz or provolone with onions on the side. The cost: $800.

I remember I read that when Mick was in Rio, riding around when the Stones were doing the Voodoo shows, he didn`t have dinner in a restaurant cause the owner didn`t accept credit card. What a stupid man, I would pay Mick for eat in my restaurant. |

The Stones spent four days in Pittsburgh. Two days after they tore down the house down at PNC Park, Ronnie Wood and Bernard Fowler came back and took in a Pirates game. |
