Mel Belli Where's the Van Humiliation thread?

According to RollingStone.com:

The long awaited Van Halen reunion tour is on: Rolling Stone has confirmed that the band will make an official anouncement at a Los Angeles press conference sometime next week. The band lineup will be David Lee Roth on vocals, Eddie Van Halen on guitar, Alex Van Halen on drums and Wolfgang Van Halen on bass. The tour, Van Halen’s first outing with Roth since 1984, will hit arenas this fall. Keep checking back at RollingStone.com for more information.

I don't know, even the Van Halen fans I know aren't excited about this. Then again there really aren't any big tours on the road this year. Other than the Police the only other 2 doing decent numbers are Tool and Gwen Stefani.
6th August 2007 06:41 PM
Some Guy There are those that say this could possibly, maybe be bigger than The Muppets on Ice Christmas Special.
6th August 2007 06:42 PM
fireontheplatter what the hell else rock and roll wise is going to happen in the melting pot during the miserable winter months....?

you realize theres an entire week left for this thing to implode

I can think of about a dozen different scenarios that could go down before then that would cause this thing to self-implode again

then again... Eddie is practicing his speech his publicist/girlfriend for the PC right now... I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong

I mean, what could possibly go wrong now?

robpop I saw the band in its original form when I was a teenager. Great stuff. Saw them on the first tour with Sammy---not the same. I liked their music, but I have no desire to sse them now.
