mrt mick avory of the kinks played with the stones for awhile in the days before charlie.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Mick Avory never played LIVE with The Rolling Stones; he made some rehearsals before the first gig ever on July 12, 1962. All drums were played by Tony Chapman during the 1962 gigs, Charlie then joined in 1963 to stay forever.
