West 8 I am there for both shows too. Staying at Days Inn. I want to check out some great beer bars/brew pubs of Philly. Anyone know some.

Steel Wheels Days Inn is a good place - I've had numerous drunken adventures there.

As for bars/restaurants:

Monks
Ludwig's Garten
Eulogy
Lucy's Hat Shop
Loie
Sassafras Cafe

Skip the Continental and all South Street locations.

The best record shop in town is AKA Music. It's where I picked up ABB.

Bitch i'll be at both shows too.

a pre-party both nites at 5:00 in the cingular pavillion at "the center". featuring hot rocks the tribute band. should be good. also theres a micro brewery inside "the center" called red bullits behind the stage if you get there early enough you can hear them tuning up maybe practicing before the show. heres a link
