Gazza Its the North American format for videos/DVD ( a lot of Americans mistakenly refer to it as "VHS" which actually refers to the type of TAPE used - ie the one which formerly competed for the marjet with BETA)

Videos in North America and Japan use the NTSC format. Most of the rest of the world use PAL.

Gazza almost the same thing applies

North American DVD's are Region 1
Europe is Region 2

not sure of the others but i think Japan is region 4

Unless you have a multi-region DVD player, you cant play a region 2 dvd if youre in the US,etc

VoodooChileInWOnderl Western Europe, Japan, Turkey, Egypt, Arabia, and South Africa are in region 2, in fact the DVD "The Rolling Stones ob TV Shows" was officialy released in Japan only and then in region 2



However most of the DVD players are multiregion and can play any region on a standard TV

MRD8 I have a copy of the Let It Bleed 2002 Europe only documentary on DVD...its off of StonesDoug's master from the director...email me at [email protected] and I'll B&P a couple of copies...U.S. residents only please!
