UGot2Rollme After my 4th and final show last night, here are my 10 favorites from the tour (not in order):

1. Jan MSG weekend: the whole Shidoobee scene in NYC; Blushing Brides, getting a "stiff pour" at the Plaza hotel bar, and of course the show broadcast across US on HBO

2. Can't You Hear Me Knocking (Manchester)

3. Manchester: Being a few feet away from B-stage and seeing Keith mouth the words "I love it" during IORR

4. Thinking I'd seen my last show in Manchester; returning to Switzerland to find Zürich announced!

5. MSG and Zurich: Midnight Rambler

6. Hearing 9 songs that I'd never seen performed live

7. Paint it Black on the European leg

8. Love Train (believe it or not)

9. Reading and posting on Tell Me; Novogate and Shidoobeeland

10. Four Flicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11. Mannish Boy - Zurich

Licks Tour Bummers

1. High ticket prices

2. Seeing empty seats at Fedex in DC (related to # 1)

3. Mick singing the first verse of Paint it Black in the wrong key in Manchester (he sounded like a banshee on acid)

4.Erratic sound quality overall - worst at Fedex, but couldn't hear Woodie a lot of the time in Manchester

5.Not being able to attend a club show!

6.Thinking that this might be the last time (but what's new?)

7.Not touring behind a truly new CD

8. Shorter setlists in Europe

glencar I agree with all eight of your "bummers."

I opt for 'not'...

UGot2Rollme I know I'm in the minority opinion, but I always liked that song, and the fact that they are still covering old r&b, soul songs is pretty cool.. the message also is also very relevant to What's Going On in the world today.

Peace!
