Lethargy Keith has looked (and played) like absolute hell lately. Still too much gesturing and waving and not enough playing. However, in this photo he really looks like he means it, like the genuine passion of Keith is shining through.

Maybe I'm just gullible...

PeerQueer He is frail...

and yes, the playing has been noticeably diminished this tour. He used to be consistently inconsistent, with nights of sheer gritty, snarling, kick ass riffing - this last tour those nights have been far fewer.

I love Keith, but I can't avoid admitting that anymore. I hope he can rally and come back stronger very soon, but this tour is really kicking his ass.

UGot2Rollme he looks so very old there..
He played well when I saw him a few months ago, though (Switzerland).
I think the cold fall nights reak havoc with his arthritis...

It would certainly have to play some part. I am amazed he can play at all with those swollen digits of his.

FotiniD He is getting older. We all are.

Still, he doesn't look like hell so many people are describing lately. And he doesn't sound any more hellish than he did in past tours - lots of off nights in past tours as well.

I stick to my theory. It's not a huge deterioration if you ask me. It's our post-accident fears projecting on to him and our pre-accident worries enhanced.

Still, I love this pic.

LadyJane I love this photo.

He's been through hell and back yet the love of the music is still keeping him going.

Bless ya, Keith!

See you in 4 days!!!!

LJ.
