Lucy_Bandersnatch From today's Chicago Tribune (Oct 6, 2006, front section, page 27, Personals)

It turns out Keith Richards was sitting on a tree stump- not climbing on a palm tree- when he injured his head while vacationing in Fiji in April, he says. "It's embarassing, really," says the Rolling Stones guitarist, 62, tells Rolling Stone magazine. "I hit the ground the wrong way, my head hit the trunk, and that was that."
********
Scary to think that such a short fall could do so much damage and cause so much trouble. Bless you, Keith.

How does one hit the ground the right way? Hm, maybe anyway that doesn't cause you to be rushed to the hospital is the right way?

Lethargy This is a joke, right? Tell me our beloved Keith didn't actually fall off a stump. Say it ain't so, Ronnie!

Honky Tonk Man Actually, this makes more sense to me. I mean, seriously, a 62 year old with arthritis in his fingers climbing a coconut tree? After reading this report, I think that story was conducted because it sounds better.
