nankerphelge You mean the guy responsible for the tinny guitar sound on the '81 tour???
October 4th, 2004 06:25 PM
gypsy Kick his ass, nanky.
October 4th, 2004 08:59 PM
kmc i was there. highlight was when trying to play "let it bleed" - mick and ron on acoustic - the band kept starting and stopping with something that sounded more like "waiting on a friend" (which they had previously done.) finally, after waiting patiently, a pissed off keith steps up front and kicks in with a blistering electric guitar solo - similar to the album version - and the song takes off.

never saw keith that angry during a stones show.

glencar I was way up there & near the end zone. Hoghlight was the crowd singalong on YCAGWYW.
