NEW YORK (Billboard) - Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger (news) and Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart (news) are the lead performers on the "Alfie" soundtrack, due Oct. 19 via Virgin.

Paramount Pictures' "Alfie," which opens Oct. 22 in U.S. theaters, is a remake of the 1966 British film of the same name. The new version stars Jude Law in the title role, originated by Michael Caine (news) in an Oscar-nominated performance.
