DVD is the way to go. Check out SCIFI.com; they have 10, 2-5 minute web-episodes that get you from season 2 - 3. Actually they are calling the new season 2.5.

Thanks, my bad. I do not own a bar.

Sir Stonesalot I liked Battlestar Galactica when I was 10.

I might check this out - looks good. I'm interested in Jericho right now. But I am trying to stick with only two TV shows per week. Not to difficult. 505 channels and nothings on.

not bound to please This thread is almost as scary as the bar thread....

Where's Bucky?

6th October 2006 03:36 PM
WJ I imagine you have a special outfit you wear while watching.

Please post a pic.

It's a whole different show. Nothing campy; very intense.

I didn't even know there was a new one.

So - the question is - is Bucky's name taken from the male Starbuck, or the female? And did the character have a sex change operation?

That's not a good idea - because there are a couple people here known to pass that sort of thing around...

I am really not all that familar with the old one even though I am the right age. I beleive that the main story line is more or less the same, but it has gone from a cheesy 70's show to a very intense scifi drama. No sex changes that I know of. Richard Hatch is on this one, but he is a bad guy.

Sir Stonesalot Look, I caught an episode of the new one.

There ain't shit that is "intense" about it.

The best thing about Sci-Fi is the camp value. If it has no camp value, it's just another dumb TV show with people running around in silly outfits.

I guess I'm just not nerdy enuff to get it.

Very intense!!! That's like my buddy saying the Sapronos sucks after seeing one episode of the 5th season. Not an educated opinion.
6th October 2006 04:21 PM
Sir Stonesalot I don't need to watch 10 fuckin' episodes to come to the conclusion that it's lame.

Just like I don't need to listen to 10 fuckin' Led Zep albums to figure out that it sucks.

When something sucks like that...I only need a couple minutes. And even that's too much sometimes.

In this case, I'll happily remain uneducated.

And now it is time for Miller High Life and some Len Price 3.

I kind of do. How was your 1st listen to Exile. I liked it, but it took me at least 10 times to really get it.
