5th October 2006 12:40 PM
monkey_man I hope not Bonnie Raitt
5th October 2006 12:41 PM
glencar Indeed, there we agree. I'm guessing someone interesting...
5th October 2006 12:56 PM
jb Bonnie Ratt good, but not an opener they need to fill in eide open west coast dates. The West Coast has never been strong Stones territorry...they hate the Stones.

Do you know the meaning of "never?"

If the Stones felt that way they wouldn't be returning for the SEVENTH show in the southern half of the state this tour.

They rely on the 15-25k who will pay full price to make a profit....but lets net kid ourselves, Cali has never been a stong Stones market...the kids hate them, and the oldies love the eagles/Fleetwoos Mac.

GimmeExile I like Bonnie Raitt but I was hoping for someone more rocking.

There will probably be another opener with a 5:30 pm start.

I am guessing its someone they won't have to pay.

glencar I'm thinking someone like Solomon Burke but I don't think it'll be him specifically. And Joshy is correct: the West Coast isn't what it was in the 70's. All the cool people have left. Apparently they're in Missoula now.
5th October 2006 01:53 PM
pdog I will perform a private show, for my fellow Summiteers!

Cow's milk, no. Just got some almond milk at Trader Joe's that was pretty good. First time I ever had nut milk. Other than my own, that is.

Not at all. No minors allowed anywhere near my kitchen, or my peanut stash. And probably no adults either after reading this.

I must warn you, it truly appears that some of the other A Listers are setting you up and toying with you.....beware! ever seen a group of black bears toss their prey up in the air before shredding it simply for their own amusement......this has an awful lot of similarities to that.

Nah, I certainly don't take this place or myself as seriously as some people here. And I don't take things quite as serious as your average black bear prey either.

Blondie is a maniac on the ax! Take it back!!!
5th October 2006 02:56 PM
glencar I hate Blondie. I know some on otehr boards "rely" on him but I just detest the sight of him. He's like last night's turd that didn't quite flush away. Come to think, he has a similar odor...

I have witnessed on several occassions people literally knocking each other over to buy him a drink. Many see him as the "key" to the inner circle.
