In 2001 Clinton pardoned Dem. Mel Reynolds who was convicted of sex with a minor.

In 1999 Clinton pardoned 16 convicted FALN terrorists who were in jail for killing 8 people and injuring over 130 others in their 60 plus bombings in the US.

Do you know why Clinton let 16 convicted terrorists walk out of jail?

If you do, let us know

Sadly, Barbara Olsen who protested this action on behalf of the Justice Dept

That crazy Clinton, what a legacy

Just can't keep away from Clinton, can you? It's actually a little creepy.

I'll try again.

Pardon? Who? Reynolds? For what?

While we're at it, how about Bush's retaliation for the Cole in the pre-9/11 days?

That's right, I forgot. You have trouble understanding the written word.

Has George bush ever said these words: "We Have Found Weapons Of Mass Destruction In Iraq?"

How many civilians have been killed over this? How many of our Military are dead and injuered?

Let's be fair, Bush had bad intel.
Hows Iraq today? The people voted... That's good news... Any other good news? Any? something. Is good news that we are able to get blown up Iraqi's quick medical care good news? Saddam Huissein didn't provide that kind of medical response to humanbeing blowing up in the streets... Good thing we're there!
We do have $20 mil set aside for the Iraq victory party, and $100 of mil. that, well we just don't know where the hell it is!
Mission Accomplished!

As someone who cares very little about this whole insignificant issue...Tele does have a point in bringing up Clinton...and that's because of all the republican bashers who have chosen to make this an issue not about the pervert that Foley is, or the scuminess of many politicians, but to make it a partisan issue...as I said before, in another thread, there are plenty of perverts to go around...casting stones is a bad idea...if its a partisan issue, than Clinton, and Kennedy too for that matter, and how the "democrats" deal with these issues is fair game...aside from the temporal factor, acknowledging that all things occur in the past, why is it not relevant?

Here my little thick friend. Digest.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/sexuality/reynolds.asp

Reynolds Rap
Claim: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.

Status: True.

Example: [Collected on the Internet, 2001]

Jessie Jackson has added former Chicago democratic congressman Mel Reynolds to the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll. Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute forgiveness spree. Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud & lies to the Federal Election Commission. He is more notorious; however, for concurrently serving five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer.

This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.

His new job? Youth counselor."

Love those crazy Dems!:

"This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate. "

USS Cole? Ask the 80% of Al Qaeda leadership when it happened

Ooops! You can't.

They are dead

I'm enjoying this... From the Tenet warnings, to the bad intel in Iraq, to the we hate homos and flag burners, I'm enjoying watch all the bad karma smack some people upside there heads. Don't think I'm not enjoying across party lines. I hope the Dems get some serious hot steaming plates of shit karma.

Sex crimes? What has Foley been convicted of?

What has Foley been charged with? What are the charges dog?

There is both a federal and state investigation going on

Don't you think you should at least wait till charges are brought?

Like I said, if guilty he should go to jail and have his dick cut off

What are the charges again?

Clinton is in the mix because he wants to be in the mix and won't go away even till this day

Clinton himself was talking about his record, or lack of success on terror even as of last week with Chris Wallace. I think you even posted once or twice on it

I wish he would go away, but he won't

Read my post again. You're asking me what has Foley been convicted of, why? did I say he was charged or convicted...? No! I quoted him, on comments he made regarding sexual predators and pedophiles...
Besides cutting his dick off, after sentencing, the rest of your post is blind hostility... The only thing you said that seems resonable is cutting of his dick...

President Bill Clinton on Fox News with Chris Wallace? He got very upset. He went ballistic. He was loud. He was angry and confrontational. So, Fox gave him a show...

glencar I keep reading that bringing up Clintoon is wrong. But his crimes went by with barely a peep by Dems. "It was just a blow job!" "It's people's private sex lives; leave it alone!" Why does the attitude change when a GOPer is involved? Gerry Studds actually took a page to Portugal and had sex with him & he was applauded by his fellow Dems as he was also censured. If the Dems had consistentcy on these matters, they'd have some moral clarity. Instead it's a party led by a disbarred lawyer & a Senator who let a young girl drown. Shame is a Democrat.

I see no difference in how either party is handling this.
From my POV, the real tragedy is the are the same! And trying to convince me, that the other party is doing it all wrong!

Clinton is not over because he continues, of his own doing, to be the voice of the democrat party...does he not?...he continues to be their number one fund raiser and mouthpiece...and he has every aspiration of being this nation's first first man...he's irrelevant only when he says he is...and Kennedy himself was never properly dealt with...He should have done time....but now he makes policy...and Gingrich should be relevant to the extent he is what he is...he's a pundit...and his credibility should be an issue...if the repubs want to latch on to him, as the dems do Clinton, then by all means, tie the two together

I see your point, Clinton politically isn't relivant, and should shut up about politics, and his past deed is relivant and we should use that bad deed in respect to discussing Foley's *(alledged) bad deed!

He is politically relevant...for the reasons I stated...I didn't turn this issue into how each party deals with their sexual transgressors and perverts...someone else did that...what?...the democrats past dealings with perverts is not relevant in a discussion regarding the republicans current dealings with their perverts?...I think it is...it has to be...because the odds of both parties having a pervert in the news at the same time is not so great

I think the only thing relivant concerns the timline, and we don't know the truth. I've said all along, if things were witheld, for reasons to protect this from coming out, that is bad. Republicans need to clear that up, b/c at this point Foley is out of their hands, it's an investigation, not limited to either party!
I've already made up my mind about Foley. The only thing that will change that would be if he is proven innocent. It's my mind, and it's how I feel, at least right now.
I think Hastert is either, negligent, incompetent or just not the guy for the job. This is alot of stuff to just happen without one of those three being true. I wish him all the best in his political future. I liked the guy... Still do!
i'm still waiting for the the Republicans to stop stabbing each other in the back. After that, then mount the offensive on The Dems. They're so good at it, and could still pull off a mid term victory.
Hillary is the most hated, but she turned her situation nito gold, so it can be done be the House Republicans. It would be great too, b/c Telecaster would be rubbing it in everyones faces, even mine, and I'm not a democrat!
Foley's in rehab... what ajoke! Haster seems like he doesn't have a clue what happened, which is sad. The two other Reps, whose names are slipping me Boehner and Reynolds, is that it, those guys are pointing fingers around.
I think we all agree Foley is a fuchead, alot of good Republicans are going to get hurt, and sadly we are also forced to relive the past evils of Dems and Republicans, b/c that's what we do in politics. Ugly shit.
It's really funny, b/c if this happened at a "real" company, and someones kid got an email, this shit would've ended a little bit sooner. And corporate america is so fucked up, so what's that say about our Congress?

Well you better get used to that...because cover up is the name of the game these days...it knows no party line...it pretty much has to be that way giving the general tenor of the self-righteous, hypocritical public and an increasingly invasive and prolific media
