Missed the first set last night at the 9:30 Club. My fault. Arrived during intermission, then they came back out and played a couple cover tunes ... and then ... 45 minutes of "Thorn in My Pride."
Frankly, I'm bored. But finally they "wake me when the jam ends," and it's one of the most smokin' shows I've ever seen them do (all told, they played more than 3 hours).
Having seen the Stones and Crowes on consecutive nights, I've gotta say, I'm riding higher from show No. 2... |

I'm not interested, but thanks for hitting on me, I always enjoy the compliment!
I have good looks and huge ego... Ask anyone who has met me, I'm a very good looking person!
I'll put in a good word for you regarding your allowance into the Summit Of The Century... It's a group decision, JB will have the tie breaking vote of course! |

last couple setlists have been amazing. Song of the fucking Flesh
saw them last friday in Philly. great performance but all the trippy shit really brought them down. that jam at the end of Nonfiction bores the shit outta me
but on the good side - I was a little disappointed with Chris's voice at the beginning of the reunion, but from the Fillmore run up thru last weeks show - the 'classic' shows from '96 aren't doin it as much for me anymore. they all sound fucking great, especially Chris the other night

My favourite part was when Saint Sway got on stage for a "live" Three way with Rich and Chris. Its was fucking incredible. They all disrobed Sway honkered down with a beautiful hummjob on Chris while Rich went down to check Sway's oil.
Rich flipped over Sway and rode him like Seabiscuit while Chris finsished off on Sways back.
Lucky they had a webcast going so all the other Black Crowes fans online could get in on the acion
