A little rusty, but good effort for 8:30 in the morning. Talk about "Corn Flakes Concert"! ... Is it me, or does Van Zandt play the melody for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" during that breakdown in "Promised Land"? |

That is so annoying when they come back from commercial half way through a song.
Great to see Bruce and ESB though, and to see the crowd having so much fun.
Can't wait till 10/18. |

The wait and delay tactics to keep you watching the lame show until the band comes on...Reminds me of the old Ed Sullivan days...He'd tease all night about what group he had....Stones/Doors/Turtles whoever...but you had to wait thru:
Lame Jewish Comedian
Bears riding bikes with skirts on
Idiots spinning plates
Steve and Edie singing crappy show tunes
Another Jew Comedian
A freakin talkin mouse Topogigio
and finally as end credits roll..the band you were dying to see lip synched a few chords.....This is same thing! |

thats all I wanted to hear.
I was freaking out thinking that he might of been playing at either Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park this morning. My apartment has a sick view of all of midtown and I would be kicking myself all day if this had gone down right under my nose and I didnt know it. |

It appeared to be in your Hometown.
Isn't that normally where the Today show is filmed?
Six songs and all I saw was bits and pieces as the old job got in the way. But E Street is BACK!!!
Sway..go ahead and kick yourself!!!

AC Convention Hall 2002.
As others have noted, Rock Plaza this am.
Could have done without the rant before
Living in the Future, however, it's Bruce, so
I try not to let it bother me.
I already had it out with Kris Kristopherson
on a similar rant, and he's no Bruce.
These artists think they have a mantle to carry,
just get up there and sing, dammit! |

Didn't you notice the 180lb women with "I love NJ" T-shirts lingering around midtown on your way out the door? |
