This news has deeply saddened me. I know that he was knocking on a bit. But it still shocks you when you hear about it. I loved his shows.
RIP |

Yes there is. The other Ronnie is Ronnie Corbett.
They had a show together called The Two Ronnie’s.
The news of his demise is very sad. I'm not surprised in the slightest that it made the front page of all of today’s UK papers.
The man was an absolute legend.
R.I.P Ronnie Barker.

Gutted when I heard yesterday. I used to watch Open All Hours on Friday or saturday nights with my Grandparents. Some of the stuttering he'd do was superb. God bless him. I don't know if any of you saw todays Daily Mail? There was a picture of him on the front page looking really frail. The headline was 'Did he die of a broken heart?' I really really hate the Daily Mail. We all wanted to remember his smiling face today, not see him upset. All the other newspapers got it right though. God Bless him. |
