mac_daddy I will say though, beer, that side 2 of Tattoo You was among the most often played record sides of my youth, along with side 4 of Exile.

I enjoy that period - Emotional Rescue is another fun one. Whe you think about it, that is one helluva a run of original albums (and to me it starts with the JJF single)

beggars
let it bleed
sticky fingers
exile
ghs
iorr
b+b
emotional rescue
tattoo you

I could listen to all of those titles straight through, and have an absolute blast!

caro Hey MacDaddy and beer..If you meant to buy the Exile-book, maybe you should take a look at a french magazine, Stones News, made by Le club des Stones. Jacques gave me the link : they made a special issue of their magazine with an interview with Dominique Tarl and more than 50 pics. I haven't ordered it yet, so I can't tell what it's like, but it does look good.

Here's one link in french with a few excerpts

Here's a link in english to order the magazine

(hope the haven't run out of stocks yet!)
